Once belonging to my uncle Tom Lyle Williams, this 1940 custom designed Packard Victoria is still one of the most stunning Classic Cars ever made.
The original owner of this beautiful automobile was my great-uncle, Tom Lyle Williams, founder of the Maybelline Company. It was custom designed during the Hey Day of Maybelline's success when TL was known as the King of Advertising. He placed a Horse Head on the hood of this extra long hood, depicting Maybelline's ability to outrun the competition. Sadly he sold the Packard in the 1950's and we never saw it again..... until now.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Snyder bought the car in the 1970's, restored it and kept it maintained in their exclusive Classic Car Collection... When their son, Steve Snyder, owner of Vault Classic Cars, found my book, "The Maybelline Story," online, he emailed me in hopes of researching the car's history. The rest is history so to speak, because a wonderful relationship developed between our two families.
Recently I received an invitation from Steve Snyder, announcing his "Vault Classic Cars" Grand Showroom Opening. Of course I couldn't wait to see the Snyder's again and congratulate Steve on his success. Here are a few of the cars in the Showroom and Wow! are they out of this world gorgeous.

I love 1960's classic cars and this 1967 Cadillac Coupe De Ville for $15,000 is absolutely crazy cool.
The Showroom was full of car guys looking for the right car. It was quite a gathering and my sister Donna and I loved the home made tacos cooked right on the grounds.
Here's Donna standing next to a 1957 Mercury Colony Park Station wagon! Beautifully restored! $59,500. When she was in High School, she drove a 1955 pink and white Bel Air Station Wagon that carried her surfboard's in the back..... sticking out the window.
But if I could have any car in the Showroom, it would be this Classic beauty, because I had a 1957 Blue and White Chevy when I was in High School.
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Hard Top is going for $44,500. I can still see myself cruising down Coast Highway in this classic, anyone want to come cruise with me?

This car is right out of The Maybelline Story...a 1929 LaSalle Dual Cowl Sport Phaeton. Total frame-off restoration, CCCA 100 Points first place and senior, Cad-LaSalle Club Senior, Pebble Beach Class trophy. Looks and operates like a new car! $147,500
A 1948 Buick Roadmaster Convertible. Multi-Trophy winner, in beautiful condition for $105,000 was my sister Donna and my Dream Car.
