 Chuck Williams BB1 says

Mike personally makes up the Set List every night they play. How lucky it has been for me over 45+ years that I have known Mike and his Cousins and their neighbor and Friend, that forms The Beach Boys DNA.  On a couple of occasions Mike has asked for my input. My proudest moment was at the opening song Surfin' from a vintage sounding Radio Station just like the 45's sounded Back In The Day to the Curtain of The Beach Boys already on stage in the dark to a BELTING OUT of Surfin' Live-------It gives me chills and the audience thrills.

The BB1 thing is alive and well. Music-Cars-Sun-Girls just some of the parts to make the whole REEEEELY work. You are the biggest part of all---- My Cousin Sharrie.  XXX/OOO   CW  BB1

I am getting ready for the Grand Opening of SPEEDVEGAS in April-May?

BB1 on stage with the Beach Boys
Last Memorial Day I posted several pictures of BB1 with the Beach Boys, at the Santa Barbara Bowl,  while they were on their 50 year Anniversary World Tour, (Click on Post.) The tour is over, but Mike Love and Bruce Johnston are still delivering their "Good Vibrations," as their old friend, (Chuck Williams,) BB1, pops up on stage for a quick song.

The Beach Boys on tour 2013 June 6 — Santa Ynez, CA (Chumash Casino Resort)

MIKE LOVE and BRUCE JOHNSTON are on tour with their backup band, which includes Randell Kirsch, John Cowsill, Tim Bonhomme, Christian Love, and Scott Totten.

My cousin, Jim Williams, also a long time Beach Boy fan, joined in at the Chumash Casino Resort concert and hung out back stage with his brother BB1 and the Boys.

I hear from BB1, that Mike Love has a lot of exciting top secret plans in the mix, and as soon as I get clearance from my cousin, I will post them right here on the
 Maybelline Book Blog.

Good Vibrations, 50th Anniversary Tour.

Brian Wilson, Bruce Johnston and Mike Love
make their way towards BB1's Rolls Royce.
After successfully arranging the Beach Boys luggage in the trunk of the car, BB1 tells Bruce Johnston to make sure he gets the 409 on his shirt and Al Jardine in the picture.  After viewing the photo,  all BB1 can say is, "stick with sound Bro."

Bruce Johnston wants to check out the drivers seat where BB1's father Noel A. Williams sat for 20 years.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more exclusive pictures taken behind the scenes with BB1 and The Beach Boys.........

MEET BB1 AND THE BEACH BOYS IN SANTA BARBARA.

HERE IS WHY CHUCK WILLIAMS IS BB1.

Al Jardine thanked him for getting him back in the band after a long hiatus. (More on that story tomorrow.)

Mike Love thanked him for everything he's done to help make the 50 year reunion possible and told him to drop the aka from now on and just go as BB1..... "because that's who you are".....The Beach Boys Number one fan for over 40 years.

Bruce Johnston asked BB1 about the set for the Bowl that day and BB1 said joking around, "Hey Bruce, maybe we should skip Disney Girls, what do you think?"  Bruce thought about it, then agreed the song was more for LA... not Santa Barbara and dropped his own song from the list.

Brian Wilson was sitting at the piano and BB1 noticed his left hand vibrating a little so asked if that was the hand he used to write Surfer Girl and In My Room!"  Brian looked at him, shook his head, Yes and said, "I like your face."

....More to come, stay tuned tomorrow.

MIKE LOVE - CHUCK WILLIAMS "BB1" - THE BEACH BOYS CONCERT AT THE SANTA BARBARA BOWL 5-28-12

First view of the Beach Boys Concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl with BB1.

Mike Love asks Chuck Williams BB1 a couple of questions from the stage, at the Santa Barbara Bowl Monday, Memorial Day, during their 50 Year Reunion Tour.  Chuck had picked Mike Love, Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston up in his 1975 Rolls Royce with the license plate, BB1.....then parked the car right in front of the Bowl during the concert.  Mike Love makes reference to it at the beginning of the concert. (click on youtube icon to enlarge picture so you can read the ticker tape of Mike Love talking to BB1.)

More stories and pictures to come so stay tuned....

Beach Boys with Chuck Williams having Fun, Fun, Fun, since 1970.

My Cousin, Chuck Williams, BB1, has known the Beach Boys since 1970 and is still friends with them today.

This picture of the Beach Boys was taken in
Chuck's living room, before a concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl, where Chuck produced concerts with legendary  groups for several years in the early 1970's. Chuck had the perfect background, because he owned every single album The Beach Boys ever recorded.

Chuck with Mike Love, at a concert in Ventura California, August 9th, 2011.  Chuck gives Mike a choice of pens before signing his original Beach Boy 45, of the song, Fun Fun Fun.  Chuck bought the record Feb 15, 1964, on the first day of release.

Mike signing Fun, Fun, Fun, 1964, remarks,
"Chuck, this is a real Gem in your collection, no ebay for BB1."

Fun, Fun, Fun - To Chuck BB1, Love Mike Love. Mike remarked, "my name wasn't on this, but it is now."

Mike and Chuck still can draw the Babe's, even in their 60's.  Mike, turned to Chuck and said, "I think she likes you!"

Chuck back stage with Mike Love, Bruce Johnston and the drummer from Blondie.

I wish they all could be California Girls!

Kickin it on stage, as Mike rocks out to,
                               Good Vibrations!

Rock & Rolling with some of Chucks buddies.

Chuck escorts Mike and Bruce to the Stage, telling the bouncer, "please keep the chicks in line," with a straight face.

Stay tuned tomorrow for some more Beach Boy Lore, from BB1.
