Red Hot Lipstick and Maybelline Eyes, Personified 1950's Hollywood Stars and still does today.

Nothing screams Old Hollywood Glamour like Red Lipstick.

When I think of the Smokin Hot Film Stars from the 1950's, including Marilyn Monroe,

Elizabeth Taylor

 and Sophia Loren,

I think Sexy, Voluptuous, Red, Red lips...and eyes made up with Maybelline.  Vintage Maybelline Fashion was created through Vintage Maybelline Advertisements like this in 1950.

Now, almost 100 years later, Maybelline New York carries on the Spirit of Vintage Hollywood Glamour, with their new Maybelline Color Elixir Lip Gloss in these Hot new colors.

Four generations of women in my family have adored
the Sparkle and Flash of Red Lipstick in a tube... however,    Maybelline's new Color Elixir Lip Gloss, in Raspberry Rhapsody, Fuchsia Florish and Signature Scarlet,
with it's flat pliable applicator, shines brilliantly like a
gloss but has the saturation of a lipstick.

Which one is your favorite...Mine is Signature Scarlet

A special thanks to my friend Patrice Irwin Bricker for placing my face in the compact mirror and to my cousin Deborah Lee Westhouse for inspiring this post.
